Boom Gates
Boom gates are an excellent way to economically control the flow of traffic to and from your premises. 
O'Briens Automatic Systems have a full range of electrically controlled boom gates to control entrances from 2.5m - 12m.
Boom gates can be fitted with a wide range of accessories to make your entrance both safe and user friendly.

Boom Gate Accessories
- Photoelectric safety beams to prevent the boom gate coming down on people and cars.
- Pressure switches on the boom arm to enable the boom
arm to reverse once it has struck a vehicle. - Lights can be fitted to the boom arm to ensure maximum visibility for drivers at night time.
- In ground vehicle detection loops to protect vehicles as well as to allow vehicles free exit from the car park
- Magnetic tip locks to prevent the boom arm being pulled open and damaged by vandals.
Manual Boom Gates
O'Briens Automatic Systems , Zone Guard a range of manually operated boom gates to control driveways up to 5m in width without the use of counterbalance weight.
Cable Gate
Cable gate is the perfect alternative to boom gates in caravan parks, or other areas that may be susceptible to vandalism or where a boom arm may pose an unacceptable risk for pedestrians walking in the area underneath the boom arm.
Automatic Rising Bollards
Automatic rising bollards can be used in a number of applications
- Automatic Rising Bollards can be used to create an airlock
when used in conjunction with an automatic sliding, swinging or cantilever gate system. This means that the bollard can lower allowing the car to drive through into the airlock, and raise again prior to sliding gate being fully open. This means only the car in the airlock can enter the site and tailgating cannot occur. - Automatic Rising Bollards can be an unobtrusive way of blocking a roadway, bicycle pathway or pedestrian walkway.
